Yep...I said last week if we lose this one things will spiral in a hurry with the upcoming schedule. We just put up 11 points on the worst defense in the conference. ELEVEN points. Not a team left of the schedule that this type of play (which has been consistent through five games) can beat. Who would have thought that the two D1 schools in the state of Iowa would have two miserable offenses?

This coming off last years flop with all the stars aligned is really not good. Really really really not good. Plus surge of Kansas and K State. WTF is happening?!

Just like old times. Going to take a freaking miracle to salvage a decent season. Oh, but we beat Iowa. Hope I have egg on my face in a few weeks but this smells like "that" smell.

Soon that old 'They only play to beat Iowa' mantra will start to pop up.

Joke's on them since ISU looked like **** that day too but that'll be the perception.

Very sobering when you realize a coach in year 7 could go 3/9 for the season and not win a conference game

A historically bad program having their first bad season in a long time isn't shocking and just about every coach has bad seasons following sustained success.

That said, ISU lacks basics and that is something that should be established no matter what.

That’s fine that there is regression of success in a program. But for a coach to be in Year 7 of his program, preaching about culture and winning in the margins, still has his team doing the same mistakes we’ve seen literally every year so far. Campbell needs to be able adapt his coaching style.

The offense that took the field today, wins zero games in the big 12, we weren't even competitive offensively.

There is so much wrong offensively, they have to be torn down and rebuilt. The people in control there don't have the mental horsepower to fix it.

We played like crap in 2 of 3 phases today and still should have beaten an undefeated team at their place. We have work to do but some of you need to get a grip. Regardless of what anyone has said so far this season, we are in a rebuilding year.

Work to do? Get a grip? I understand rebuilding .... but from what? Are you saying last year was "good"?

Take a breath. It will be ok.
The problem is ... this is who we WERE as the pond sediment of college football. Always next year. It will be OK. And we were released from that after beating Oregon. Then.... 2021. Then ... 2022. It is very unsettling. Maybe CyTown will save us?
