Did you stop off to see the Dalton Gang Hideout in Meade?

Once set out on a road trip with the aim of stopping at every historical marker. Saw the twine, the well, the hideout, and a town called Liberal. (got a big charge out of the Liberal School, the Liberal Library, the Liberal Post Office and so on...this was probably when W Bush was Prez).

Wow, haven't seen his name in a while. He was a few years older than me in school. Saw his handy work at the Clay County Fair in what must have been 2000 or 2001.

1) Went to the triple point where we could stand in Wyoming, Nebraska, and Colorado all at one time. That involved hiking a mile through the prairie and dodging a herd of free-ranging cattle who looked at us like we were from outer space.

definitely misread that as "hiking a mile prairie dogging" and thought that was a really weird bucket list item.

We did run over a prairie dog a bit earlier, leaving a rest stop in Wyoming. So maybe a bit of both?
