Weather for Saturday

This thread has taken quite a drastic turn!

I have the chance to go this game, but I see 50 for the high to go along with potential muck and gloom. I’ll be sitting on my parents couch in front of the fire and 75” TV getting ******* toasted all day. No brainer. If it was going to be even 60 at game time I would probably go.
I am going to be there, ISU is going to kick ass and it is going to be GLORIOUS!

Just rained hard enough here that it overflowed my 5" gutters.

That is a lot of water on very hard ground. Too bad this event wasn't over 2-3 days.

I know this is an Ames weather thread - or at least it used to be - but I just heard Ken Miller say that it is going to be so windy in West Lafayette that Purdue has banned all tents and temporary structures in the tailgate lots.

A few questions for Saturday:
When is the cutoff on if the grass lots are closed?
If grass lots are closed, are there other tailgating locations for non-donors?
Any recommended pregame establishments as a back-up? Not sure what opens earlier.

They generally make a decision on Friday afternoon to allow people time to plan BUT theoretically they can make that decision anytime on Saturday as well.

30 mph wind gusts in Ames at game time. Hope we miraculously discover how to run the football somehow.
