We love you, Georges

Georges replaced Jake Sullivan as my all-time favorite Cyclone early on this year. Going to miss his game and hope he at least gets a chance at the next level. If he doesn't make it, so be it, just hope someone gives him a chance. Go Cyclones!

I wasn't a Cyclone fan when Grayer played, only since '96.

Georges had the best CAREER I've seen in my 20 years of being a Clone.

Time flies fast & faster.

I can remember discussing/debating recruits on CF, when Niang was in the mix, like it was yesterday.

(I couldn't have constructed a sentence more poorly if I tried.)

A longer season would be even better, of course, but I’m glad Georges at least was able to go out with a Sweet 16 season. He got to play in only one game in the 2014 run because of the injury (and also had to endure 2015’s early exit).

It’s uncommon anymore to have a player like this, who may not be “declare early for NBAâ€￾ material, but still is highly productive for four years.

Dang I'm going to miss him. Thanks for becoming a Cyclone Georges, you will always be loved by us all.

Thank you for the countless memories over the last four years Georges. You made Iowa State basketball relevant again almost single-handedly. You exemplify everything it means to be a Cyclone. You are a legend and are irreplaceable. I cannot wait until your jersey is retired as there is nobody else who could ever possibly live up to you wearing that number.

I, as did a ton of Iowa State fans paid a lot of money to go to Chicago to watch the Sweet 16 game. But just watching Georges play his last game as an Iowa State player made every penny worth it. Thanks for every thing Georges!!

He's the best and it has truly been a honor to watch him for 4 years. I will always be thankful that hoiberg found him and that Georges picked Iowa state.

Iowa state basketball lost a bit of joy yesterday.

You are one of my top three favorite Cyclones to watch, all time. I hope you go on to make it in the pros. That would really please me.

I've never wanted someone to succeed more in his post isu career than I want it for Georges. He loves ISU as much as we love him, and that is rare and special. Thanks Georges!

Tough watching them interview #23 for Syracuse after they beat Virginia. Just couldn't stop imagining Georges having that interview.
