Yeah, i understand why its done, but i hate that the NCAA gives preferential sites to the top seeds. Best seeds get the easy matchups already, let them travel. It gets a bit old seeing NC\Duke playing in North Carolina year after year after year.

UCONN wasn't a world beater this year, fellas. Plus the east coast media loves them, plus we've been recruiting otta there lately. If we can win, lots of folks are going to hear about it. Then...
We play the #1 team in the nation. What a great test for our guys. Once again, we'll get a **** ton of press from this match up. If we play them close or god helping, actually win, our program will get the respect that so may folks on this board wine, climb and chime for day-in-day-out.
If anything, we've got the NCAA Tourney monkey off our backs. **** it, let's just give this thing our best shot.

I actually love our guys during games like this. I thin they will be ready to beat the hell out of someone. A team has to beat UCONN and Kentucky, let that team be us!
Worst. So we're basically the 32nd best team in the country I guess?
I really thought we could get a 7 seed, or at the very least the top one or two 8 seeds, but we were the worst of the 8 seeds.
I actually like the fact that most seem to think that we will lose... seems to me that ISU lays an egg when most think that the game is already won. I bet that Royce is extremely focused right about now.
unfortunate for ISU. if ISU coulda played cuse in the 2nd round i really think they could have won that game.
We were better off being the 10th Seed....yeah WVU got a better deal..:shocked::shocked:
That's not how it works. It gets a little more complicated with the auto-qualifiers, gamesite, etc working in to the mix. They have to make it work for 68 teams, not just ISU. The #1 seeds are pretty much the only teams that have a written in right to preferential treatment.
I would rather play Uconn than So Miss, and Texas was an #11 seed, we were seeded about right IMO. Not sure what everyone is ******** about, we are IN, and playing and underacheiver in Uconn. Be happy.
