I don't know how different the womens game is but Crooks PER at 33.5 for a freshman would be EYE POPPING for a mens player.

Comparing a post to a small forward forced into playing PG for her team is pretty hard. In any other year either would likely be the runaway winner. Thinking they probably lean to Booker because of her leading them and keeping them in the Top Ten when they lost their consensus POY PG in Harmon. No one expected Crooks to be THIS good this year or expected Booker to play point guard. Both have been crazy good as freshman.

As I've been checking past few weeks seems like Crooks pulling away from her statistically rather than them getting close to each other.
Seems like Big 12 media relations is bending over backwards to worship UT/OU on their way out for some reason though.
WVU beat TCU and ISU beat Cinci - unfortunately, we lose the head to head tiebreaker to WVU because they beat OU. So we need Baylor to win tomorrow to create a three-way tie, which favors ISU. If Baylor beat OSU in Waco tomorrow, ISU is the four seed with a double bye. So we find ourselves in the unusual position of rooting for Baylor, at least for one day...
