Just watched Jada's highlights. Some remarkable plays in there, some of them ill-advised. So, I ask, not knowing much about our wbb program (I'm old, please don't beat me up. I'll be paying a lot of attention to next year's team. Gettin' into it.)

Any thoughts about how the conversation between Jada and the coaches went? Will the coaches attempt to trim her more wild moves, or do they want her to do the same?

Ball distribution, with Addy and Audi, will Jada be expected to drive and dish more than at Arizona?

Boy, though, she is so fun to watch play.
She had a few highlights that made me laugh because the play itself was incredible but the decision was questionable at best.

My favorite was 14 seconds left in the half in transition and she jacks one 10 feet behind the 3 pt line and swishes it.

Williams plays with a ton of swag. I think you have to take some of the bad with the good. Don't want her to lose that aggressiveness.

She's going to be able to add dynamic play that has been so desperately needed for a while. Obviously will have to figure out usage patterns that best utilize each of her, Addy, Audi, and somehow keep others engaged/in the game.

Excited to see if there are any other additions; feel like an athletic wing who can guard a few positions and do like, something even off ball on offense would be awesome? But I don't know how realistic that is.

Do not sell yourself short Valley - you have a brilliant basketball mind.
That said - my opinion : I am thrilled with this acquisition. She can create and break down a defense, something we sorely needed. I am OK if she is aggressive to the hole - we need that. I do not care if she is occasionally out of control. Hopefully she can know when to dish off the drive. Her quickness on defense should be a welcome asset. I feel like our only missing piece now is an athletic traditional 4 player. Do not care if she can score, but defend, rebound and make layups.
Just my opinions. I believe we will have a much better season next year. I am counting on the former Marquette transfer being healthy and a good shooter. History says she is.

I’m waiting for a good 4 to be picked up as well. I posted some time back there were definitely some intriguing prospects in the portal that have performed well, but aren’t the blue blood high cost players. Looking forward to seeing what the staff finds.

Under the menu here, clicked on WBB roster. Audi and Addy listed as freshmen. A little behind on updating, are we, CF, hmmmm? MBB scores missing last half of the season results, too.

So, guess I'll wander over the AD's site and check information. Addy is a forward, but more power than athletic, I take it. Do we run a two-post-type system?

I see Kenzie Hare medically redshirted this year. Two years left. Is she a point or an SG?

Addy is a well rounded player, but I would call her more of a traditional 3. She can score from anywhere. Solid rebounder too.
I have never seen her play, but I think Kenzie is more of a SG.

Addy is a very skilled player. On offense she often is on the perimeter, but she can post up smaller players at 6’2”. In our offense she is very much a wing, not really a post. Our offense has been four out and one post most of the time. Hare is a SG. We didn’t get to see her play healthy, so we are likely going to see a different player this year. That is the hope.

Baylor and TCU have both loaded up in the portal. Still seems like ISU has to bring in a starting forward. Need another two-way player.

Baylor has brought in oft injured Scott as their key piece and Pemberton. TCU got Miles and not much else that is proven at this level. Big 6’7” girl (Silva) who hasn’t played much. We def could use a good 4!

TCU got Suarez from Cal. Really good player.
Good catch! They, like others, keep bringing in one year hired guns. Pretty much the antithesis of developing players within a system. Kind of like playing craps hoping the dice can turn up right each year.
