WBB: ISU vs North Alabama

FT shooting is much better. Officials seem to call fouls and traveling for a while, then ignore everything for a while, then repeat.

40-35 ISU at half. We were up 12 at one point, but North Alabama's 3pt shooting started eating our zone alive.

Scott and Nezerwa were in the game together for a while, but it just doesn't work with a zone defense -- they kept finding a mismatch of Scott vs a speedy guard at the perimeter.

I noticed we switched to a man defense at the very end of the half. Wonder if we see more of that in the second half.

With as short as BF is keeping the bench, it might be hard to do that.

As a team, we still don’t know what our teammates are doing.

I'm at a game in person for the first time in a couple seasons.

North Alabama is not a pushover. 9-2, and they played Iowa close at CHA.
I’m thinking you might want to come back a few more times this season.

This is actually a much better game than could be expected playing a team that just recently turned Div 1. We are playing pretty good other than those early zone defense fails and dumb turnovers trying to feed on the post on passes with a 10% chance of success. Good to see Scott and Johnson playing well tonight before Big 12 play.
