**** WBB: ISU @ Cincinnati- Game Thread - 5:30 pm ESPN+ ****

Brown had a layup and Audi clogged the lane. Could see frustration coming up. Let Brown down low once in a while.

Had to work late and missed the game but 11 turnovers is a significant improvement for us. Much better scoring distribution too!

Share the ball and good things happen. IMO, our two best wins of the year have been the roadies vs Arizona and Cinci, where Audi wasn't ball dominant.

I don't know who the female former Bearcat announcer was as I tuned in after the game started, but she commented that having two players score 60 of 69 points (ISU vs TCU) wasn't a recipe for success. But that's what we've done all season - two players take > 60% of our shots.

In my humble opinion, the key to "turning this season around" is to share the ball. I don't think CBF will do it, as he's hell-bent to have Audi lead the league in scoring, but if he wants to WIN, he'll run plays for AJ, Kelsey & Aili. It's also past time to trim the rotation to eight - Syd didn't build off Arizona, doesn't rebound well and is a liability on defense. Lily hasn't built off anything and Wilson is overmatched - AJ is better running the point anyway.

Starters - Crooks, Brown, Ryan, Jackson & Joens
Regular Minutes - Williams (for Crooks), Tanke & Harris (they can shoot the rock)
Limited Minutes or DNP - Wilson, Hansford & Taulelei

Having said that, I most recently coached 3rd Grade - 6th Grade boys in a Rec League nearly twenty years ago, so what do I know?!? Go State - get hot when it matters!

I like Syd better than Alli, but I'm not ready to internet keyboard fight you about it. But agree with you get hot in March and make the Sweet 16 I'd call it a W for the season.

That wouldn't be the season we hoped for, but with the bumps we had this season I'd be happy with it.
