WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

Dang! Clearly they have a dedicated following. I would've never guessed people would pay that kind of money for softball. Maybe I'm wrong about the "bleeding money" part!
I love watching softball myself. But to think it’s a revenue positive sport is mind boggling. There is something about watching the skill of those pitchers that intrigues me. When I taught high school we had an annual exhibition against the girls softball team. Trying to hit off a good softball pitcher is tough!

I don’t know why but I can’t stand to watch college baseball. I’ll watch college softball all the time though. Something about it is much more intriguing than baseball. Same goes for WBB. I’ll watch the ISU men but rarely any other games. In WBB, I’ll watch ISU and lots of other teams as well.

Yikes, class of 2030 from Hill-Murray HS in Minnesota.

Probably offered at big AAU thingie in Phoenix this last weekend. Iowa coaches were in attendance probably chasing Jenica Lewis and Addison Bjorn. Does Bill go to these events these days or is it just Billy and underlings? Used to see social media posts of him at AAU sitting with other coaches like Sherri Cole and company but haven't even heard a mention of him at these in some time so asking for peeps that follow AAU stuff more here.

Probably a sign I should get the 2029 thread going, because the 2030 thread might not be far behind.

It's not. Isn't Bailey Joens from AIA class of 2030 also?

BTW, here's more on Wilson and her older sister Mya who the Cyclones have offered. 7th grader but played varsity because she was just way too good to play middle-school games.

Yes. If I had a 2030 thread, Bailey would be the only one listed so far, but other 2030s with some social media attention from the coaches are Wilson, Bryce Webster, and Claire Stoops. Go one more year, and I can include 2031 Annalese Schroeder.

Usually they wait until they retire….
Well IMO she deserves it more than Shedeur Sanders deserved having his jersey retired at Colorado.
It's kind of a fun statue sort of reminds me of Johnny's statue in Hilton
