WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

Geno is an arrogant pr*ck. Some reports are that he was whining that she didn't shake his hand pre-game. She said she shook all of the UConn coaches' hands pre-game. Honestly I think this is just Geno being a dooshbag sore loser who figured this tourney was just a coronation for his UConn team.
Watch it again and see who was aggressive and whining.

Staley likes to escalate everything. Remember when Bluder said pregame that Iowa’s game with them would be like “a bar fight” and Dawn turned it into some kind of racial attack? “We’re not monkeys!” she shouted.
Give me a break.

Rumors of abusing staff. Top 10ish job in the country now with NIL/ rev share. Reddit founder is also putting a ton of money into their woman’s sports
I guess knocking off the mighty Hoks in CHA just wasn't enough.

The post tournament way to early top 25. Not a SINGLE Big 12 team listed.

That is bad. at the bottom they for some reason they had Colorado as a team they considered.

It’s pretty likely that TCU will be in the initial top 25, but jeeze our league is really suffering.

Yeah…in the NIL area rosters will be changing and it’s likely TCU buys another team.

Big 12 schools, or at least many of them, will figure out ways to try and keep some level of competing in football and MBB, because that is where the revenue is coming from. However, the reality of the media deals is going to make it harder and harder to not just punt on the other sports.

For anyone interested, Tennessee in FY 2024 spent $11 Million on WBB and made nearly $4 million. So they lose $ 7 Million a year. Source

We spent $6 million and made ~$1.5 Million. Tennessee appears to leverage parking passes, higher ticket prices and WBB specific royalties to make a lot of the difference. We both spend about 5% of the operating budget specifically on WBB.

And as of this morning, they reportedly have zero players.
