Ran across this while perusing recruiting news. Unofficial visit by Top 10 recruit to Iowa. Not cheap to fly the whole family in on their own dime so this shows serious interest IMHO. REALLY stiff competition with offers from all of this years Final Four favs except UConn (per their board they are out of the running).

Honestly, in the long-term, I think Iowa is going to be better under their new coach, then under Frau Bluder.

Little late for the Transfer Portal. Either someone paid her big bucks to sit out and move or team issues.

From reading the replies she has already attended three schools and want to make it four. Without digging into the transfer rules I assume she has to sit out a year now.

You have to wonder why she keeps moving from school to school. We don't need a one year transfer with a history like hers.
As a grad transfer, I'm surprised she managed to get a degree on schedule with that many transfers. Her advisors did a heck of a job.

I think she has committed to Baylor and is going to be allowed to play the last half of the season. Just repeating what a little bird told me. I've watched her play quite a bit. The girl can score.

Perhaps she will be a disruptive force within the team?

That would be contrary to anything else that has been done - if a transfer did not occur during the time the portal was open you have to sit a year - see Alisa Williams transfer from LSU to Iowa State.

I thought that too. But Baylor is currently announcing that she has to finish her first semester at FL then she can play the second semester at BU. Like I say just repeating what the green birds are chirping.

I REALLY hope that is not the case - nothing against Baylor but if transfers are allowed mid-year it will be complete chaos. Typically a mid-year transfer would be eligible at the semester next year.

It's because she's a grad transfer and she left the Florida team before the start of the season. She probably needs to stay at Florida this semester to graduate, and once she graduates and enrolls at grad school in Baylor she'll be eligible. She's not playing for two teams in the same season.

Do not think that is the case - think it is about where you are enrolled - not necessarily play. Guess time will tell.
