God win for the Cyclone Ladies. Hopefully we will shoot better from3 the next time Audi is double teamed. I think we will see more of this.

If UCF was a better team their bet on us shooting the 3 poorly would have paid off.

Didn't watch but it seems like the ladies are doing the 'it was the worst of times, it was the best of times' thing to a T.

Harris and Hare, who combined to go 0-12, are each shooting around 40% on the season. Gotta be process oriented and believe in a reversion to the mean at some point. If you can get a 40% 3PT shooter open looks, that's a good shot in my book. And better than many of the shots we were getting in the game.
In 11 conference games, Hare is 10/41 (24.3%). I like her and I'm cheering for her to break out, but it is what it is.
In 11 conference games, Williams is 21/62 (33.8%).
In 11 conference games, Harris is 16/40 (40%).
So Harris and Jackson are good shooters. Williams is just enough of a threat, but teams are more willing to let her shoot rather than let Audi go 1 on 1.
You might think we have 4 good shooters. But we really only have 2, and one of them is a poor defender.
Hare is shooting (24%) from 3 in Big 12 play if my math is correct. We badly need her to shoot better because Beaty isn’t a 3 pt threat and Bill doesn’t play Wilson. I’m glad AJ is back. She was great today. It is good EP is getting minutes, but it is important we have shooters on the floor with her. Also thankful for Jada’s mid range game.
What’s crazy is that earlier in the season Hare was like 3rd in the nation in effective FG% at 75%, but the conference season has changed all that.
Hare is really struggling on the offensive side of the ball. She is having trouble making lay ups lately. Free Throws also. She is really having a hard time on the offensive end.
Double digit win. Not a great overall offensive game, Audi taken out of the game on offense. We played real good defense. Rebounded well, steals, and hustle.

Bad attitude all around. Literally sat on the floor pouting for an entire possession while her team was playing 4-on-5 defense before getting pulled.
Where did Willy disappear to at the end of the game? Wasn't on the bench or in the handshake line unless I'm misremembering.
Bill has learned from TJ that even when your offense is struggling, defense can win you games. And today, defense delivered the win as our offense was inconsistent. Don't know if anyone else agrees, but I thought Audi played much better defense today - she had something like 11 boards the last time I looked, and when there was a 50:50 rebound, more often than not, Audi hauled it in. She's a true competitor, and will contribute any way that she can, and today, while she still ended up in double figures scoring, her biggest contribution was on defense.
Well typing 1st then will read the game thread. Did I see great BB today? Nope, but it was a pretty entertaining game because both teams played pretty hard and both shot pretty poorly, sometimes it was pretty ragged but it was fun to watch. The gals got the W in the end wasn't all that close so what the heck it was a entertaining afternoon of BB, just not high level BB. Thank goodness AJ was hitting today.

Hare, a lot of times goes 1/2 or 1/3…and then she has games like today that are horrid at 1/7 or 0/7. As mentioned…she’s missed a bunch of layups and struggled at the free throw line. Just seems very weird that you’d lose your touch across the board like that.
