***WBB: 2027 Recruiting Thread***

Skim posting. We do have offers in to Mya Wilson (2027) and Ashley Wilson (2030) per Reds postings. So, relevant recruiting rival news although just visits.

Ah, so that was the Skim Milkey Twitter hint the other day. No real nation ranking on her, or even stars, so it was probably smart to take the best offer she has right now versus trying to play up this season to get some attention and end up getting beat out by offers to better players. Odd offer from the ISU and Iowa considering her poor three-point shooting, that's usually a big sell for both schools. They must see something in her.

I thought she was a Top 100?

Yeah, she’s number 66 nationally. Good get by Iowa. I’m beginning to think players don’t want to be yanked by bill after doing one minor thing wrong on the court.
Everybody makes mistakes and that's how they learn. Bill needs to change some of his habits. I remember after Kylie F went to Iowa she said they were more mistake friendly. I would've thought he'd learn from that. Surely he heard that. It's just to bad everything is falling apart. Had big hopes for the season.

Thats so old and cheap. You are living in the 5 to 10 year old past.

Recruiting is now negotiation - the $$ supersedes everything else. We will not get top 100 players with our current pool of money. Also everyone complains that BF relies too much on the stars - if she is Top 100 think she would fall in that category.

She's not ranked by ESPN or Prospects Nation, although I am not so sure how good Prospects Nation is these days. I used to sort of cross reference ESPN and PN, not so much anymore. Prep Girls does have her at #66 but their rankings are mostly only good for maybe figuring out who the top couple of players per state are and their mission is to sell subscriptions.

Did see elsewhere that she's shooting 39% for three her junior year so that's a lot better and maybe more respective of what Iowa and ISU saw to offer.

not really. No player wants to get on the court and get pulled after 5 seconds. It’s embarrassing tbh. I actually cringe when watching it. Time for a change. Clean house and move on.
Stop with the same old same old…all the whining in the world about what is disliked about the coach won’t change a thing. There are obviously far more players who like playing for him than those that don’t.

Finally have someone higher than level 1, so I'll get this thread started.

Let me know if there are any corrections needed.

Seubert to Iowa is no loss for us. Jada was not the top player in WI in what was a less than stellar talent pool.
