***WBB: 2026 Recruiting Thread***

Who says that will be the result? The beauty of next years team is they could be anywhere from a 16-14 type of team to the upper 1/3 of a weak conference. Maybe, just maybe, they are so different (don’t have the one centerpiece) they succeed where recent teams haven’t? Just being hopeful here.
hopeful? or DELUSIONAL? lol

As of 1:00 PM today, there have been 146 commits out of 1441 players in the portal or 10%. It looks like players are taking their time to commit, and we have zero idea as to what is going on.

I would think we have a lot to offer, unless the staff has zero charisma/salesmanship.
(1) Didn’t Pollard insinuate in his video that revenue share dollars would even be more than the $750K allotted to the program? (2) Playing in front of a large crowd game after game. (3) If you’re a halfway decent shooter you’ll get lots of shot attempts up in Fennelly’s offense.

Emilija Dakic: 5'10" G transfer out of Florida Gators from Melbourne AUS., three years remaining. Not a lot on Dakic and her one year stats PPG 1.6, Rebs 1, FG% 40, FT 70%. are not super impressive

Dakic has represented Australia in the U17 and U18 national teams, earning a gold medal at the U18 FIBA Asia Cup in 2024. Her international experience highlights her competitive exposure at a young age and her contribution to the team in key tournaments.

Don't know if Dakic would be a priority target. Knowing she was in Florida first may indicate warmer sites may be more appealing than Midwest schools.

Florida's Gift Ezekiel has committed. 2.4pts, 1.9 reb on 8 mins.
