She's one of the top recruits in the nation. On the previous page of this thread, I noted that it appeared we backed off. This is just confirmation of that -- she likely trimmed her list and informed our coaches we weren't on the list, so we're backing away.

In Minnesota she is like Bueckers the Second as far as recruiting attention. And there's UConn again. Maybe she might not want to be Bueckers II and goes somewhere like Stanford although both schools coaches are getting pretty old now, Tara is 69 and Geno is 68. Interesting to see Nebraska on the short list. And there's ND and Tennessee, looks like old times from a few years back.

+1
plus Vanderbilt too. II know it's a good school but the program has been bad (although Shea Ralph, former UConn assistant is in her 2nd season there)

I should have added "a resurgent" Nebraska. They were actually pretty decent last year, coming up short against ranked teams but made NCAA and were fun to watch. Their post, Alexis Markowski, was Big Ten Freshman of the Year (2022). They added an interesting recruit in Maggie Mendelson who reclassified and graduated early to join Huskers volleyball. She is 6'-5" and not giving up hoops. "She was the No. 2 recruit in the 2023 class, according to Prep Volleyball, before reclassifying to join the Huskers in 2022. She was also the No. 32 basketball recruit in the nation according to ESPN in 2022." - Huskers.com.

Did a little bit of cleanup to make my numbering more consistent, and noticed that Fournier should be dropped off the list. Sorry to everyone dreaming of her dunking in an ISU uniform.
