Way too Early Season Prediction Thread

Yeah, we'll just agree to disagree I guess. You say with the talent we have the CEILING is 4 wins, I'd put it at 6 or 7.

We have too little talent to compete for a Big 12 title, but not too little to compete for a bowl game.

That's cool, I understand everyone sees things differently. I just find it hard to think this is a 6 or 7 win talent pool, when that is all CPR could win over a nearly 3 year period. The team won 8 games over 3 years for a reason. CPR won 18 games over 3 years with more talent. It isn't like Rhoads doesn't know how to coach football, he simply didn't recruit ENOUGH talent. You need way more talented players than CMC has to work with right now. Don't worry, that is all changing, CMC is killing it on the recruiting front, and a year or two he will have the talent to put up more wins.

I agree with CySoup. We are a team that has to rebuild. While we do have some great star players, we need to improve our depth in the positions. I think it will take several years before we should really start seeing success. Probably only a few of the freshman that Campbell requited will play this year.

I predict Nigel Tribune will not start. Re-watched a couple of games last night and now I am re-watching the Okie State game. Okie State's first drive, Tribune gave up 3 catches and a TD. There was one play where he was in great position and got overpowered and gave up the catch. I knew Tribune was bad last year, but re-watching these games... wow, he is worse than I thought he was.
