I know Scout has a list behind their paywall, but I'd like to see everyone take a stab at it here. Based on my limited knowledge:

WR Dominic Overby, Omari Hayes
WR Cody Jackson, Jordyn Bailey
LT Jake Taylor, Austin Barrett
LG Gavin Broscious, Garret Rutledge
C Cade Myer, Austin Barrett
RG DeAndre Carter, Garret Rutledge
RT Maasai King, Gabriel Greenlee
TE Tyler Fortenberry, Keaton Roskop
QB Jaylen Raynor, Connor Moberly
FB Easton Miller, Keaton Roskop
RB Cameron Pettaway, Aiden Flora

RE Isaac Terrell, Jack Janikowski
DT Bryson Lamb, Jareb Ramos
NT Zaimir Hawk, Ka'Mori Moore
LE Jace Gilbert, Caden Crawford
SAM Rylan Barnes, Carson Willich
MIKE Beau Goodwin, Carson Willich
OLB Montreze Smith Jr, Sullivan Schlimgen
CB David Coffey, Jaheim Singletary
SS Drew Surges, Caden Matson
FS Braden Awls, Connor Welsch
CB Beni Ngoyi, Keyon Washington

I would expect Micah harper to either be starting at safety or be secondary, instead of Matson or Welsch, and see Exline over Barnes IMO

I don't think the secondary will be amazing, but Coffey showed promise, Keyon Washington should be fine, and Jaheim Singletary was obviously fast and athletic enough to be recruited as a five star and the top of his class. Also, I am comfortable with the safety position

I really appreciate the effort on this. I tried to do one, and gave up. It’s really hard.

With that being said, I think you’ve gone a little too Cyclone heavy in this two deep…. but what do I know at this point either?

I’m hoping we don’t see any Cyclones from last year starting at LB, with the exception of maybe Willich, but maybe I’m being too optimistic. I’d love it if Schlimgen, Exline, and Montreze beat everyone else out, but not sure even why?

And I’m hoping that Coffey is the only Cyclone from last year starting at any of the four DB spots.

We won’t. They all went to Penn State.

Barnes & Goodwin were forced into action before they were ready, but at least they’re Big 12 battle-tested. I think they would have transferred out if the linebacker whisperer Jimmy Rogers didn’t see any potential in them.

I swap out a few returning Cyclones for portal kids. But on defense, get the feeling that a most spots along the DL/LB & S spots there won't be a big difference between 1st & 2nd team snaps.

WR Hayes & Burke over Overby
TE Greenlaw over Roskop
FB Roskop over Miller

DT Baloun over Lamp
DE Crawford over Gilbert
MIKE Schlimgen over Goodwin
SAM Willich over Barnes or Goodwin
S Malcolm Jones over Surges
CB Seth Johnson over Ngoyi

There is no longer a spring transfer/signing period right? Are we done adding guys?

No one can enter the portal if they aren’t already in there. There’s going to be a lot of guys looking for homes for awhile. Could be a random late pickup or walk on, but the roster is likely pretty set.

I think this might be exactly how I had it.

Think y'all have Flora too high on your running back depth. He had 4 carries and 2 receptions last year

Why? I thought that too when I was trying to do this, because I thought he was too small…. but it turns out he’s the same size or bigger than almost all our RB’s…. and is probably the fastest. So I wouldn’t be shocked if he’s in the two deep.
