Wasps and Wasp Nests

We used to have wasps. We used to have huge nests. But, we don't anymore. Grab yourself a kid's super soaker water gun, fill a bucket with water, and add a small amount of dish soap. Then load your supersoaker and go to work. No need for harsh chemicals. No need to garb up. If it's a good supersoaker, you can nail them from a mile away. And, best thing of all: they don't come back.
I tried all that other stuff people are recommending on the site, but read of the effectiveness of this method and OMG it really works.
But, I can't condone killing pollinators. They're essential to survival.

You can’t condone it but you did kill them?

What you just described definitely kills them.

Interestingly, if you hit their nest in the middle of the day, the casualties are much less. And, for whatever reason, they don't rebuild in the same place after that. You're correct, I do feel badly. But after seeing my wife get stung six times in one unexpected encounter, I had to step up.
