Tyrese is the same type of crazy Rick was last season. He will bounce back and when they do have to leave the prison I would much rather have Tyrese than I would Carol. She really added nothing to the group. Think of it from Rick's point of view. What if Carl or Judith were the first ones to get sick? Would she have killed them like she did the other two? I sure wouldnt trust her.

Yeah we'll see. It will be interesting to see if they run into Carol again down the road.

Carol was becoming a much better developed character this season - vastly different than the woman we saw in season 1. I hope she returns at some point.

Chris Jericho was pretty great on Talking Dead last night, as someone else mentioned earlier. Marilyn Manson was unwatchable last week. I kept having to fast forward the DVR when he started talking.

I like that Hardwick thanked them both for being lucid last night.

I didn't watch it, but in his promo that aired during Walking Dead where the host asked him who he'd like to have on his side in the event of a zombie outbreak and he answered Marilyn Manson. Gold Jerry!

I believe the writing on this episode was just lazy. It reminds me of some of the writing during season 2 of Lost.

I just asked a co-worker if they'd hired some of the writers for lost for this show. I was kind of joking but at the same time, it's reminding me of, "Oh we have a hit on our hands and we can't quit now. We had an end in mind, but screw that, we need to just keep dragging this out because we are getting ratings.

What scares me the most, how this whole thing started, "Rick in a coma" They could easily end this with "Just a dream"

Okay, I gave the "slow" feeling of episode One a pass, but....

The show just isn't interesting this season so far. I'm not crazy about the new characters on the show, don't like Carol leaving, and didn't like the "lazy" writing of the couple they found upstairs (though I think something is up with that guy and he returns.)

The show just doesn't have the intensity of the previous season.

Seeing that all the walkers with the bleeding eyes at the vet college I think is another clue. The animals dying has something to do with this "disease/flu." So there may be more to this coming soon.

As others have said, they need to move on to finding another group and vacate the prison to keep this show interesting.

I don't read comics but I assume they don't stay in the prison forever right?

Correct. Although the comic series and tv series have a lot of differences. If I remember correctly, Tyrese was actually getting it on with Carol at one point.

There is no doubt in my mind that they will. I actually dont think she is just going to go just because Rick says so. I think she will try to get in people heads like Daryl to turn on rick. Who knows though. On another note, during the preview of next week in the Talking Dead, did anyone else find it strange the way the doctor said "Yes, why don't you look at me" to Hershel? Seemed a little weird to me.

Agreed. I don't see them ramping up her development just for her to disappear. I could see Daryl going after her if she doesn't make contact with him first.

No way Carol tries to turn people against Rick. She gave up and accepted her punishment. When she gave him her watch she was saying that she had given up ever part of her former life. She knew something would go down with Rick when she left for the run. That's why she had her talk with the girl and wouldn't let the girl call her mom.

Daryl will be ****** as will many others though.

Given the universe of the Walking Dead comics, they have years of material. And dozens of great characters to come.

Well said here.

I am sure the group will run into her again at some point. With all of that being said, we're in for a big flu show where people will be dropping like flies in the prison. Hopefully Glenn will be taken care of though... He's a good character.

Did anyone else notice the girl Carol was talking with didn't seem as sick as when she went in? Maybe it was just an acting thing with a young kid, but while everyone else seems to be declining rapidly, she seemed almost fine.

I'm hoping that the elder berries help somewhat.

Some of the newbies are gone for sure, but I think the main characters that are sick will survive.

Me too, Tyreese killed like a hundred walkers with a claw hammer. I'd keep getting him girlfriends and killing them. Then when he's mad enough, send him after the mega herd.

They won't go the just a dream route. Robert Kirkman's been asked this about the comics for years and he's been very insistent that it's all real and not a dream. I'm assuming he has final say on any major developments on the show as well.

The people have survived for this long, yet when Rick comes along they get killed.

Something the show doesnt do well, adding and developing characters we care about.

We've lost almost all the season 1 cast, and due to having nobody to step up in their place the remaining characters feel 'safe'. At the point where from season 1 youve got Rick and Carl (invincible main characters) and then glenn, daryl and carol. Then Maggie\Beth\Hershel (who im betting doesnt make it this season), Season 3 added us what... michonne and tyreese?

Need characters that can join and be members of the show 2-3 seasons from now, imo, and i was kind of hoping we'd see these two more than just 10 minutes.

I honestly didn't think she was that sick to begin with. It almost seemed like she just fake coughed a couple times to TRY to get in there. Suicide wish? Bad acting? I dunno..

I thought she was acting sick to get put in with the others. She knows some will die and turn to walkers and she seems to have an unhealthy interest in the ones at the fence.
