Walking Dead

I thought it was good. The governor is further shown as a crazed psychopath. Carl makes a strong move. Poor Milton. Not how I anticipated things to turn out, but that is fine.

Yup. I thought they could've made Milton a really interesting character next season. I guess having one voice of reason in Herschel is enough.

I speak for all of us when I say thank you. I don't want to know any possible scenarios and I REALLY don't want to hear spoilers about upcoming seasons/episodes.
Lol, comic spoilers won't due a whole lot of good. They just killed a character that is still alive in the comic. Of course she didn't suck like she did in the show

It's been said before that the show is loosely based on the comic which makes sense. I'm just saying I don't wanna hear about anything that might happen.

I'm guessing the governor either isn't in next season at all, or at least not for awhile. I think they're gonna go about with some other completely different storylines and then he'll just suddenly show up out of the blue. He's insane and revenge crazed so he'll come after them eventually.

Why didn't they just lock the door behind the Woodberrians when they all went into the prison?

This is exactly what I thought. Set something up to make noise and draw them into the dark cell blocks. Then have Glen and Rick sneak out and lock them in. Flash bombs go off and draw every walker that you've pulled into the prison over the last few days. They end up getting bit or use all their ammo and can get killed easily.

Threat over.

I think it's hilarious and fitting that Andreas death had less meaning than Merles. Merle redeemed himself by thinning the Woodbury heard and getting a great shot at the Gov. Andrea gets caught monologuing and gets killed by freaking zombie Milton. Seriously, get at least one hand free and jam that set of pliers right into his ocular cavity.

"i know how the safety works".

Good callback to season 1, when andrea is mourning her sister's death.

I dont share the hate some of you do for Andrea though. She didn't get to see how bad the governor was like the audience did (and once she did, she went back to 'team rick')

I'm one of the people that hate the character of TV Andrea. But man, I feel horrible for Laurie Holden. She's got a pretty major role on one of the most popular shows ever, and then the writers hand her a steaming pile of **** for the role. The writing for Andrea was horrible. I absolutely could get on board with Andrea's motivation of trying to bring the Woodbury/Prison conflict to a peaceful resolution. But the writer's never gave her character a chance to express that at any point this season until tonight. They could have crafted her into a completely believable (and possibly likeable) character, but they never gave her a chance.

As somebody else pointed out, that was a solid episode but as a finale it didn't work. After a lot of tension being built there should have been more development than the worst character on the show dying.

Also, the commercials were ridiculous. I think there was about 5 minutes of show from 8:45-9:00.

Sorry, but Andrea deserved what she got. She's the dumbest character on the show, and I do mean the dumbest. She kept watching and talking to Milton and if she would have like 10 seconds of that time back she'd be alive? Dumb.

No kidding. My wife was yelling at Andrea every time she paused, which was a lot.

i must be in the minority but i thought the episode was pretty good. it had a lot to tie together and i think the bit with Carl killing the kid is a huge part of what next season will be all about.

I am confused and curious about this as well. In the comic
Woodbury attacked right after Michonne carved the Govenor up. Same MO how the people were mislead by the pysco, but someone shot Lori and the baby while they were trying to escape. Afterwards, the Woodbury people turned on the Govenor after realizing he made them try to kill women and children instead of the "army" the govenor described to them. It was then that some woodbury woman shot the Govenor in the face. The survivors fled the prison when that happened. Seeing as they changed almost every dynamic of the prison arc, not sure this is much of a spoiler as the show does whatever it feels like.
