According to this link => https://linktr.ee/collegevbtransfers :

Addi Heidemann is transferring to App State and Kelsey Perry is transferring to Florida State.

Also noticed that Texas Tech is losing 9 players to the portal (2 of them being Grads) with one incoming portal player so far.
According to the above link, Alexis Englebrecht is transferring to North Carolina for her Grad season of eligibility.

Team with newcomers (Jackson, Bobbitt, Hendricks-Walker) recognized on WED during KSU MBB game. Duckworth's right arm is in a sling which could suggest shoulder labrum repair common amongst VB athletes and could sit her out during spring season:

Iowa City
I watched a little of the Iowa HS tournament on Thursday night, specifically the 3A Mount Vernon vs Western Christian Championship match. Mount Vernon has 3 division one athletes, a 6'3 OH going to Louisville, a left-handed OH going to Arkansas their ISU Legacy setter going to Evansville on a basketball scholarship.

As a casual fan, I'm of the impression the state of Iowa produces a fair amount of HS volleyball players and it strikes me Nebraska does well with home-grown kids. Did ISU recruit either of the Mount Vernon "stars"? Should ISU be recruiting the State of Iowa harder? I'm not being critical - I truly don't know and I'm interested in the opinions of more knowledgeable fans - TIA.

The pool of IA HS P5 VB talent has been down in recent years. These are the Top 5 instate VB recruits according to Prep Dig since 2020 and through 2027.

From 2020 thru 2024, the in-state prospects that you wish ended up at ISU are Carter and Dean. It is my understanding that Robinson and Kubik never considered ISU.

For 2025-26, you would have liked to see Meester, Hayes, Kremer, Boeve and/or Derrer in the fold for ISU with their length.

2020:
1) Devyn Robinson (Ankeny Centennial) - Wisconsin - AA and All-B10 MB/OH
2) Aliyah Carter (Dubuque Wahlert) - Kansas State - AA and All-B12 OH
3) Akacia Brown (Cedar Falls) - Mississippi St/Iowa - Flamed out at college level
4) Sommer Daniel (Tipton) - Utah/Ole Miss - Back-up Setter
5) Morgan Weber (Dike New Hartford) - Wichita St - Part time starter at OH

2021:
1) Phyona Schrader (Ankeny) - Notre Dame - Starting setter
2) Sydney Dennis (Mt Vernon) - Iowa/FIU - Part-time starter at Libero
3) Ashlynn Kuhn (Hudson) - Drake MB
4) Allie Petry (CB St Alberts) - ISU/Wayne St Libero/DS
5) Danielle Johnson (Osage) - UNI OH

2022:
1) Hayden Kubik (West DSM Valley) - Nebraska/Tennessee - Starting OH at UT
2) Macy Daufeldt (West Liberty) - Drake OH
3) Lauren Carter (Winterset) - Denver/Northwestern - Backup Setter at NW
4) Faith DeRonde (Oskaloosa) - Iowa State - Starting OH/DS
5) Calia Clubb (Clear Creek-Amana) - Illinois St/UNI OH
Not in Top 5 =>Morgan Brandt (Sumner-Fredericksburg) - ISU 3 yr starter at Setter

2023:
1) Lily Dykstra (Urbandale) - UNI OH
2) Cassidy Hartman (Iowa City Liberty) - UNI OH
3) Avery VanHook (Marion) - South Dakota Setter
4) Ava Schubert (Davenport Assumption) - Tennessee Tech OH
5) Kayla Knowles (Denver) - Houston/Georgia Southern OH (Back-Up)

2024;
1) Payton Petersen (Dike New Hartford) - Louisville OH (Back Up)
2) Kenzie Dean (DM Dowling) - Kansas 6-3 OH (Back Up)
3) Bliss Beck (Clear Creek Amana) - Drake 6-2 MB (Starter)
4) Isabelle Elliott (Sumner-Fredericksburg) - UNI OH (Redshirt)
5) Jaydn Petersen (Dike New Hartford) - UNI OH

2025:
1) Chloe Meester (Mt Vernon) - 6-3 OH - Committed to Louisville
2) Abbey Hayes (North Scott - 6-2 OH - Committed to Creighton

3) Molly Schafer (Eddyville Blakesburg Fremont) - OH - Committed to UNI
4) Delaney Miller (Ankeny Centennial) - 5-10 OH - Committed to Wayne St
5) Reagan Hanfelt (Ankeny) - 6-0 MB/OH - Committed to ISU

2026:
1) Isabelle Kremer (Pleasant Valley) - 6-3 OH - Uncommitted
2) Bailey Boeve (Hinton) - 6-0 OH - Committed to Creighton
3) Reese Naeve (IC Regina) - 5-9 OH - Committed to ISU
4) Ellah Derrer (Davenport Assumption) - 6-4 MB - Committed to Kansas St
5) Kaelyn Wieland (West DSM Valley) - 5-8 Setter - Uncommitted

2027:
1) Sophia Austen (IC West) - 6-1 OH - Uncommitted
2) Mazie Sweers (Pleasant Valley) - 6-0 OH - Uncommitted
3) Logan Vogt (Waukee NW) - 6-1 OH - Uncommitted

According to Prep Dig:
1) Bettis (6-0 OH) is the 2025 #2 ranked player out of MN, #1 and #3 are committed to Minnesota. 4 star recruit according to vballrecruiter.com.
2) Goolsby (5-11 OH) is 2025 #3 ranked player out of KS. #1 & #2 are both setters and going to Stanford and USC. 3 star recruit according to vballrecruiter.com
3) Hanfelt is ranked #5 in IA as noted in my prior post. Grant isn't in the Top 5.

Stonestreet is the only departing player due to being out of eligibility so these 4 additions can be accommodated under the new roster limit of 18 starting in 2025-26 but there will likely be some inward and outward portal movement after the season:

The proposed NCAA settlement as part of the House v. NCAA lawsuit would set the roster limit for Division 1 volleyball at 18 players for the 2025-2026 school year. This new rule would make volleyball an equivalency sport, meaning that all rostered athletes would be eligible for a full or partial scholarship.
