Vehicle Fuel Range

It hurts the same no matter how you fill it but I will also add that a new fuel pump from consistently running low will hurt more.

I will have to look at which vehicles are affected. I generally run all of my vehicles until their wheels fall off and I have never had to replace a fuel pump.

Didn't even realize some would give a reading that low. All recent vehicles I've had all get to a point where they just say "low", almost as a disclaimer so you don't over trust the range remaining and end up empty on the side of the road.

And I know it's the "I bet you're a lot of fun at a party" comment, but definitely a good practice to not let the light come on or the mileage remaining count to get too low every time before filling up.

I was going to say this. Our minivan just says low fuel once it gets below 10 miles. I assume it's basically a COA deal on their part.

That being said, I don't usually let it get below 1/4 tank.
