9 teams still alive for the CCG, based solely on record (prior to applying tiebreakers).

Who knew we kicked the game winning field goal in the third quarter.

I hope we can replicate parts of the butt-whooping Colorado gave them yesterday. Their QB is turnover-prone (he threw 3 picks yesterday and lost a fumble), and they only rushed for 31 yards as a team off of 30 carries. Their defense also allowed 49 points for the first time in about a decade. They are on a 6-game losing streak, and we could knock them out of bowl eligibility. Let's roll.

This is a hard one to pick

1) They are desperate to try to maintain bowl elgibility
2) Its a long road trip
3) How health are we? Can JR go or we get anyone else back or can we at least keep Jack, Will and Ellis available ?

Man, I also have to say. Dylan Barrett coming back from ankle surgery ... that's impressive. For a big man to come back, what, a month after having a lower leg injury? I know it wasn't a knee, etc, but still. Kudos to him.

Rocco has to protect the ball. I don't think Utah can score enough on their own. But a pick six, or the like, that could give Utah the juice to hang in the game.

A clean game by the offense where we don't turn it over? I think we win. A pick six or a couple turnovers? That then gets dicey

I feel like after struggling to run against Colorado, they'll really be focused on it this week. The little Wilson brother looked decent at times in the second half yesterday but got no help from the running game. We haven't looked good against the run lately so it will be interesting to watch.

We are favored by 5.5pts?!
hmmmm........
Game is at Utah, Night game on Senior night, and they need to beat Iowa State and UCF to go to a bowl.
I understand they have injured players, but I would think this game would be in Utah's favor given just the reasons I listed alone.

I know Utah got beat by Colorado by a lot, but that game was actually much closer than it was (like ours) The previous 3 games they lost by a TOTAL of 10 points. Just saying I would stay away from that spread is all.

Utah offense isn't good but their defense is decent. Should be a win but you never know with how inconsistent we can be on both sides of the ball and playing in a tough environment with altitude. We will know more about our CCG chances by kickoff since BYU, ASU, and CU play at 2:30.

It was closer than the final score, but it wasn't close. CU dominated after throwing a pick on their first drive.

Given how much injuries have decimated our roster this season, we should all be elated that we're sitting at 8-2 right now. ANY additional win from here on out is just gravy.

Hopefully, we go into Provo with a loose attitude and we let it rip.
