Not a pretty game. I thought for sure we would get a 2nd goal but they took their foot off the gas and had to sweat it out. Overall I'm not optimistic about getting a point against Canada. They just won in Honduras. Seems like the ceiling for the window is 6 points which means we will need results during the last window, which will not be easy. That Panama match at home will likely decide who goes to the play-in game against (probably) New Zealand.

The top 3 teams all got a little help tonight with Costa Rica beating Panama. Instead of Panama keeping pace with the top, they are still on 14 points.

I’ll be there too. On a total whim, I checked airfare on Tuesday and ended up getting flights for $150. I’ll be flying in from Phoenix and getting off the plane into single digit temps. I think I might be insane.
