Updates

Well, we did have a couple of miscues that he needs to clean up....

Speaking of SJ having five TDs, did he have the most passing TDs in the B12 this weekend? B12 offensive player of the Week? Brady of the Pats also only had four.

Lucky Woody held onto his low ball TD.
:twitcy:

What is with all of these new accounts posting about Jake like they have insider info?
Trolls. They need to start permabanning them. No reason the threads stayed on the board last week. Just causes more rumors, then papers start writing stories as fact based on website rumors.

Jake is done playing when Jake says he is done playing, not when some internet troll post about it.

all i know is that wally did not give a "good game" kind of hug to Jake after the game. It was a long "congrats on a great career, it has been a pleasure to coach you" kind of hug.

also, other players on the sidelines went out of their way to give a him a "good game" hug that they didn't give to the rest of the defense. i may be reading too much into it too. And Jake has proven that he can play through any amount of pain if coach will let him. I think that is why he is being noncommital to saying he is done. Or him and coach being coy to force OU to game plan for him.

Was it one of those hugs that lingers...a little too long...then a slight...mmmmmmmmmm at the end? Maybe a little Barry White in the background? Things just got....awkward.

Seriously, maybe JK20's done, maybe he's not, but the rumor mill 'round these parts has gotten stoopid.

A bunch of guys reading into a hug on a sports message board. I have no faith in humanity.

Rhoads was interviewed yesterday after practice and Knott is day to day, if everything stays status quo, Knott will play on Saturday.

Wow. While OU's boards are crying over the heartbreak of not making a national championship this year, our boards are crying over the strength and duration of hugs and bromances on the sideline. If offering critical analysis to hugs is as tough as we can get as a fan base, it is clear that Iowa State's football program has reached it's pinnacle and we can begin our decline back into irrelevance.

I missed a lot of the Knott/Shoulder talk last week because I had to actually work at work... If he has surgery on his shoulder, is it a rotator cuff? I assume 8 weeks (potential bowl game) is too soon for a return, but has there been any speculation on that?

I sounds like you're the one who needs a hug.

Never sweat on company time, and never poop on your own time.
