Not a good week or so for Cyclones in the NFL. Lots of former ISU'ers were released either today or recently:

TE Collin Franklin, from Tampa Bay
OL Hayworth Hicks, from Indianapolis
QB Seneca Wallace, from Cleveland
DB David Sims, from Cleveland
QB Sage Rosenfels, from Minnesota

So, I'm wondering how many Cyclones are still active and on rosters in the NFL? Here's who I can think of off the top of my head:

Tim Dobbins, LB with Houston
Kelechi Osemele, OL with Baltimore
Ahtyba Rubin, DL with Cleveland
Leonard Johnson, DB with Tampa Bay

Probably missing somebody obvious here. EDIT: Thanks for LJ, I knew I was forgetting at least one (and maybe more).

We will see if LJ lands there after the rosters are reduced today. I hope so. I think Sage or Seneca could get picked up by someone, but both have been in the league for a while so hard to say. I was really pulling for Franklin to land a spot this year.

Really surprised about Sage. He has had great numbers in the preseason.

I wouldn't call them "great". He played decent in garbage time against 3rd teamers in two games, but looked awful against Buffalo. What it all boils down to is age and cost. He has too much of both. I'm sure he'll get picked up by someone, but if not, it was a good career

Really glad David is going to get his shot. David was a damn good football player and a guy I thought could play in the NFL. Shows how hard it is to make an NFL roster.

Hopefully he hangs on in Philly and has a long and healthy career.

Another great reason to be an Eagles Fan!!!

He must have redshirted his first year after college...

Glad he's got another opportunity too.
