New comers should all be on campus by the end of the week.

Skills camp (12 players plus team) will be June 21 and 22.

First thing I notice when I walked into State Gym was how much bigger Brackins and DG looked. Both of them have put on 20 lbs since I've seen them last.

Lucca leaves for Germany today....I told him to make sure he comes back.

Barnes...60%-40% ISU.

Thames...Still between ISU and Wash. ST.

Buycks....Looking very good in ISU's favor.

Take Bradley off the schedule...they are getting in an Alaska tournament and need room.

WJ has been released to more schools: UNC, NC State, Tenn. too name a few. JP has been handling WJ issues since the Mac's press conference.

A few names from the Elite Camp:

Zach McCabe...Nice athlete, but football might be his favorite sport.

Marcus Paige...Smooth lefty, very intelligent, true point guard...Height being the only question mark, but played well against the team. I had a opportunity to speak with Marcus' dad...very knowledgeable, respectful and was just a pleasure to talk to.

Chanse Creekmur...Similar to Clinton Mann, but not as skilled. My guess, he ends up a Hawkeye.

Mike Broghammer...Good size, I was not completely sold on him, but did not get to watch him much.

Elliott Eliason...May draw an offer from ISU...already has offers from Nebraska and Creighton.

Many other kids there that could really shoot the ball, but there were just too many names to try and remember...most were pretty young.

Good to hear that we are looking at shooters. I think shooting is a lost art anymore with way more emphasis being put on how athletic a guy is.

Can you clarify on Barnes. 60% in favor of ISU is how interpreted what you said. Is that correct?

Sounds like Wesley is basically after an upgrade in basketball programs, although NC State has not been doing that well.

I agree with you on shooting being a lost art. Shooting and the bounce pass are two things that MUST be taught better to our players. I can probably count the number of good bounce passes I saw this past year on one hand....and I've only got three fingers on that hand!! Just kidding, I have all ten fingers.

Yes

Will Bradley be rescheduled for another season? I assume they still have to come to Hilton sometime to fulfull their contract.

I think the home and home was represented by the game we played in WFA two years ago

Would be nice to fill up that empty Bradley slot with a home-and-home with another BCS school. How about someone from the SEC?

I've been hearing some really good things about Harrison's recruitment too.

Right now, ISU is his favorite.

Chanse Creekmur...Similar to Clinton Mann, but not as skilled. My guess, he ends up a Hawkeye. Or Drake

Mike Broghammer...Good size, I was not completely sold on him, but did not get to watch him much. Will be a mid major player.

Sure hope Brackins and DG have put on the weight, they are going to need it this season now that we are relying even more on them without WJ. Hopefully Craig puts in some hard work this summer on some new post moves too.

I spoke with Brackins, biggest concern was losing the weight during conditioning...He joked with Mac about not having to go through conditioning...was unsuccessful in that regard:biglaugh:
