UCF IS A Blackout Game

I laughed, but it does kind of seem like the Bookstore is back here scheming how to sell more merch.

On my digital ticket, it doesn't say "blackout". I swear the Baylor game had some sort of "whiteout" notation letting us peeps know it was a whiteout game; that and CF was how I learned of it. I think this notification on the actual ticket was the best idea the AD has to make sure everyone sees it and knows it's a whiteout. Don't think this game is actually an official "black out" game.

I had heard it discussed a number of places all week (like I had the whiteout) and this was the first I'd seen it posted anywhere just like they did the whiteout. So the disconnect seems to be elsewhere this week. Regardless, Campbell and I will be wearing black.

It's not. But there does seem to be some sense that it's somewhat encouraged. At least that's the vibe I've gotten based on what has been put out.

But no, nobody has outright said we want you to wear black either. besides this book store post lol.

Can't we be a proper country and attend games shirtless again?!?

Shave an "I" in your chest hair and let's show the world what we're all about. Guys, you can participate too

It's not official but I'm pretty sure I remember seeing some social account inviting fans to wear black.

CycloneFB tweeted that the team would be wearing black. That's it.

The bookstore and other vendors have decided on their own to push black merchandise.

I think the AD is smart enough to know not every game can be a "I will tell you what to wear game". An unofficial black out game, sweet, everyone wins.

It's not a black out game....I think people got a little confused when at the start of the week, Cyclone Football tweeted this:

But the athletics department never had an official "blackout" game and they wouldn't do that with a 1 week notice.....for reference, the whiteout was an official theme for the Baylor game and it was decided way ahead of the start of the season.

So partly on the bookstore, although they're just trying to sell merch, and partly on CycloneFB for confusing fans.
