Jay Bilas is a twat. I honestly don't understand some of the love he gets on here and over the internet.
I don't think there is a conference in America with the amount of quality guards that the Big 12 has, especially at PG.
Yes but I was kind of referring to the intensity they play with. The first half I watched they were like a swarm of bees. They were working their butts off. Not sure if that continued in second half.
Bilas roll-eyes quote of the night: "If oSu finishes 7th, then 6 Big 12 teams will be in the top 10." By extension, that means that any school finishing above oSu in conference will be top 10 nationally.
LOL. OSU opened as an 11 point dog to the #4 team in the nation on a natural court. While I think that is a tad high (and has been bet down), Vegas usually gets it about right.
I've always liked the guy's ability to break down the game and could listen to him all day when he sticks to that. The problem came when he started tearing down the NCAA's hypocrisy and a lot of people agreed with him. Since that time his head has gotten really big and he seems to view his opinions as absolutes. He's still right a lot but he doesn't leave much room for the possibility of being wrong or situations being fluid.
I like him considerably more when he's paired with McDonough (sp?) and Raftery. They bust his balls enough to keep him humble.
