Tyler Miller commits

This is a 2020 recruit, so KF has plenty of time to go after him, if he wants. I like that CMC goes after the guys he wants early, and then stays on them. Can't say that Iowa will not get some of the in state guys, but this is way better than giving up before even trying. Success will allow ISU to get better guys. and OL is a place that needs better guys.

Yeah I understand he's a 2020 recruit but my point is that Iowa has to actually recruit inside the state now. What used to be a layup is now a contested three.

Very impressive in-state commit right here! I'm hoping this in some way helps get 2021 target Luke Pinnick a little warmer towards the Clones.

I'm really curious what his height and weight were in his 247 profile pic. If that is 6'9", 289 that kid has the frame for a lot more good weight. I imagine he was more like 265 in this pic but we can dream.

Has anyone seen him play? How is his footwork?

Hopefully he can play left (or backside) tackle. A 6'9" lineman starts to present visibility problems for a smaller QB. On the backside it probably presents just a little bit less of a problem. Purdy is listed at 6'1" - Re-Al at 6'0" but that might be a stretch.

That picture has to be old. He looks like a man among children in some of his HUDL videos.
At 6'9" 280 or whatever he is, I'm sure they are going to want to put another 40 lbs on him.
