Interested to hear others opinions (not political or cave bound) about Musk's actions since taking control. He obviously realized there was some serious dead weight just milking a paycheck, but dang. If I had that much money into something that could vanish quite quickly ... well ... I'd take a different approach.

Hope it dies. Good riddance.

I don’t know technology behind the scenes and how it works. I heard Twitter had 7600 employees. Which seemed odd since it’s just a website. So I’m not really sure why they would need so many employees.

I use Twitter for different sources of information but it dies, I won't be sad.
Something else will pop up to take it's place.

Who holds the record?
I would like to know that as well. I started one when Royce Lewis announced his run for senate and that disappeared pretty fast. Idk what the record is though.

How would you rate Twitter on a size scale against Facebook? FB employs 45,000 people worldwide. Instagram has 19,000. TikTok seems to have around 10,000. Twitter was already small in comparison.

It takes a lot to run tech companies, websites or otherwise. Many, many things go on behind the scenes to keep the lights on that no user ever sees or hears about.

I'm sure there was some fat that could be trimmed but that's literally every company. I'm sure there is a lot more than just having a few people write some code. Plus there's marketing, legal, HR etc. that probably involve quite a few people.

I don't think he is going to completely kill Twitter but I don't see how he will make his investment back.

It's seems like it wants to compete against that Truth Social - Trump platform

I'm seeing a lot more stuff in trends that I don't want to see.

Plus if I'm an advertiser I have no idea how I could be on the platform. It has so much **** on there. I want my ad right next to some ****** up Nazi ****? That's nothing new, but I've always wondered how companies get their arms around that

I know more than a few people whos business was built there and if it goes it will seriously hurt their brand.
