Lol, I have no idea if they’re one of the few people left there. It doesn’t take that to see what’s happening and take a pretty good guess at where they stand now.
It's his money. He can do what he wants with it.
His actions have proven he doesn’t know much about it. But don’t take it from me, plenty of public accounts on how projects work when he gets involved at all 3 companies.

Right. He’s so dumb he has made over 200 billion dollars and built a space company and took a car company from nothing to being one of the biggest electric car companies in the world. Yeah he is dumb right. So comical. Yet apparently we are fan boys because we step back and look at the situation and say he is pretty smart. I don’t like Bill Gates . I am also not dumb enough to say him and Basos are not smart.

The very fact that Musk seems to think the blue check is just some show-off thing for the elite that he can sell to anybody for $8 a month - instead of what it was, a way to ensure that an account is exactly who they claim to be - is 1) a huge observable difference that’s affecting real people in real ways, not to mention costing corporations real money in stock valuations, and 2) a shining example that Elon is putting false right-wing grievances ahead of actually making the service better.
Then there’s the banning of accounts because they’re mean to Elon, or his stated plan to hide tweets from accounts that don’t pay him his $8. He’s like the paperboy from Better Off Dead.

Viewership isn't the only thing advertisers look at. Raw viewer counts haven't meant anything for a long time in advertising. Ever noticed how you don't see "normal" advertisers on porn sites even though those sites have huge amounts of viewers? Advertisers don't want to be associated with that as it would be perceived to hurt their own brand value. Just like they don't want to be associated with social media sites that are unmoderated cesspools or where trust is burned to the ground (trust in authenticity being the reason verified accounts existed in the first place, but again, Musk was too ******* dumb to understand)
