I seem to have a hard time watching live tv (youtubetv). It freezes mid stream. Sometimes 3-5 times an hour. I did a conection test and the download speed is 18 mbps. Could the issue be my router or is that speed sufficient?

I have multiple devices simultaneously running but no real issues with netflix or disney+. Just the live stream and downloading the occasional movie.

What is your connection speed supposed to be? What has your provider sold it to you as? You're going to lose some of that speed via wifi, but 18mbps is pretty slow on the whole. I had a 10mbps connection and couldn't even get it to run Zoom calls at that speed on my phone. The FCC considers 12-25mbps to be a "medium" level service.

You could be teetering on the edge of needing an "advanced" level connection up and over 25mbps.

Were you recording the program as well? I've noticed it on anything that is also being recorded to my library. I don't know if it has to do with the ability to rewind and it's struggling with live vs delayed?
