I was looking over some of the past seasons' records and here's a trivia question I bet you could win some money on:

Between Johnny Orr, Tim Floyd, Larry Eustachy and Wayne Morgan, who had the best conference record his final season at Iowa State?

Gonna go with floyd. Of course Johnnys last year was the jr season of Hoiberg, meyer, etc.... that was a good team too. I am thinking in my head there was no way it was wayne, and I am always wrong, so it must be.

I don't think their is a real "winner" in this club-Wayne went 6-10 but I think that might be the "best" of the bunch

Yeah, the correct answer is Wayne, told you that you could win some money.

Here's how it breaks down:
JO '94 4-10
TF '98 5-11
LE '03 5-11
WM '06 6-10

One more conference V this year and we'll have six. Hopefully next we'll be talking about only having six losses in conference.

All that aside, WM last team was #90 in Sagarin. We now rot away at #133. Sagarin says we would have tough time competing in a mid major. Beat Colorado at home and we drop. Point is we have not had too many big wins or road wins to build a resume. We have just tried to keep our heads above water. An even better point is if we start from a low point end of this year, it may be a long two year climb to respectability.
