I share a lot of the same feelings as you but broadly speaking, his shtick is to infuriate people enough to call in, listen, or talk about him. However dumb you or I think he is, there is a method to it and yes it is a manipulation.

I get it, it is the Clay Travis and Jason Whitlock approach. Except they are good at it because they are talented.

Yeah I agree with you. In this particular case I just don't think Travis wasn't looking at the big picture. People recording themselves celebrating had nothing to do with a "missed field goal". This was a ll about the program hitting a level most believed could never happen. Travis doesn't hate on Iowa State like a lot of people are claiming. Honestly, if you want to flick someone $hit it should be Heather, She does a really poor job being the Iowa State voice on that show.

He's not nearly as bad as he used to be.

Their entire show is now based on crapping on their producer, Sean. KXNO should try again. My god, a couple of weeks ago when it was Travis and Ross... they were facetiously being super politically correct for AN ENTIRE HOUR. Beat the living SH** out of a dead horse.

It's not appointment radio or a show I'll podcast if I miss, but if I'm in the car and it's on, I'll listen and typically it will make me laugh.

Clay Travis is far worse. His level of arrogance is more than I can stand. Thank god he is only on before 6:00am.

Perrault was way worse than Travis is. Perrault loved to sh!t on Drake (he went off on the PA announcer being too loud thus costing Creighton a game. And don’t forget him getting into it with Walters over hiring Fred. Des Moines radio is better without him.
