Has anyone ever gone to an away TCU game?

As it’s looking like this could be another special year and that TCU game looks like it could have massive implications I am playing with the idea of making the trip. But as I was thinking about it TCU’s stadium and game day atmosphere may be the the one school from the hateful eight I have never heard anyone comment on.

Get in contact with the Dallas area cyclone club. we have gone to a couple of their events, one at TCU. You park offsite and they bus you to the games. Good atmosphere in the stadium, very nice campus, gives one that old Spanish mission look of the buildings. If you have time be sure to check out the BB arena right by the stadium.

It's a beautiful stadium, hooked onto the BB facilities, big terrace between them. Went for BB others will have to give FB advice.

Here is a link to DFW Cy Club events including game day tailgate and TBD Friday Night event with CW. Also, here is info on discounted hotel rates to the FW Worthington:

Special room rates ($228/ night) at the WORTHINGTON RENAISSANCE HOTEL in Fort Worth, Nov 7,8,9. Here is the link to book a room DFW Cyclones Block 2025: book.passkey.com/e/51103844

Yes, 55-3 i believe.. took 2 kids..7 year old and 2 year old. Sat through rain. Wife was done after 1 quarter. As others have said its a beautiful stadium and had bus options from parking lots.

Went the first year they were in the Big 12. They had a "Fall Break" then so it wasn't busy at all.
I think we tailgated with the DFW up on a grassy hill nearby. They had a nice tent/canopy setup.

It's a nice stadium, and a nice campus. Highly recommend reaching out to the DFW Cy Club as others have mentioned, they do a great job. Went twice, 2012, and the Zeb Noland game (woof), only good thing about that day was Lee Greenwood singing proud to be an american at half lol

That was the game we went too also, left the stadium thinking TCU is in the playoff, they just crushed us that day.

Seconded. Find those DFW cyclone guys. They will hook you up and treat you right. Good dudes.

Great stadium, wasn't too busy the day I went, but was a great time and area to hang out in. Overall a fun time, as most of our group didn't make it into the game because of the night before - may have only had 1 beer while tailgating. Distinctly remember the TCU Showgirls - couldn't believe they were in the stadium and that's actually their name...

I've been 3ish games there now as a former coworker of mine is a TCU grad and when he's not traveling the world we flip flop going to each other's games. Though he much prefers visiting Ames. TCU has a beautiful stadium but I haven't been since they renovated the east side. Looking forward to going this season!

I went the first year. We bought tickets and a tailgate spot from a local who lived a couple blocks from the stadium. They hosted a tailgate at their house, and they were super hospitable.

The stadium is gorgeous, has good sight lines, and overall I enjoyed it. Not an overwhelming experience, but definitely worth the trip.

Never been to a game but parked on campus for the Charles Schwab Challenge a few years ago. Gorgeous campus surrounded by really upscale neighborhoods and the stockyards is a great time.

We owe them for that beatdown.
