Top 25 Ranking?

TCU is not the same team when ISU played them, they have lost a number of good players.

This place is something that I think is being overlooked. TCU wasn’t a great team when we played them but I think they were in the same category as Tech, OSU, and Us at that point. Now I think we’ve moved up a bit and they’ve really dropped down but we played an ok TCU team. That one is going to hurt though.

We are a top 25 team right now, but won’t be ranked in the polls. Only having 4 wins hurts us, and most voters don’t realize the difficult schedule we played early on and how much easier it gets now going forward.

Just take care of business on these next 2 and we will be ranked for a Top 25 showdown in Austin with major conference championship game implications on the line.

Neither was TCU. We’re not talking about the four-team playoff ranking. We’re talking about the top-25.

Our TCU loss is painful. If we have a decent shot now to make the CCG, imagine how pretty we'd be sitting with that game in the win column right now.

I think this week we get a good chunk of votes, but don't quite make it. If next week is as chaotic as this week was for the Top 25, we may have a chance to move in. Our problem with sneaking in is that we don't have any "eye-opener" games coming up until Texas.

No way we are ranked. But if we take care of business against KU and Baylor then I think we will be, given that some of the other teams above us go down the next two weeks.
