i dont follow alot of wrestling but im trying!! haha, what is the wrestlebacks? is that like a consulation? and do we stil get points from it?

Losers' bracket, consolation bracket, wrestleback bracket -- all the same thing. It's a modified double elimination tournament (1st through 8th places do not follow a "pure" double elimination format--but close enough). Double elimination means you don't go home until you lose twice (except for 1st never loses, 2nd and 3rd only lose once, and I think 6th and 8th lose 3 times--but I digress).

We get half points for advancing (full bonus points for major/fall) plus whatever placement points we may earn. (3rd through 8th are all determined in the wrestleback bracket.)

The short answer: a pin in the championship bracket is worth 3 total team points.

Just depends on how the X-Y is defined.

wins-losses then we're 8-3 and Minn is 10-0

Champ bracket - wrestleback bracket then we're 7-3 and Minn is 9-0.
