sorry, felt the need to start a just for fun thread since the Baylor WV game is so boring.

When the season started, what did you never think you would see now?
Mine is that both KState and Minnesota are Top25 ranked teams. Goodness.

Those are good ones. I didn't think Baylor would be #1. I didn't think they'd be bad, but certainly not the undefeated streak we saw.

Gonna be a short time at the top. Will West Virginia possibly win the Big12? I know, I know....it's always KU's til they show otherwise.

I just don't think their style lends itself to that kind of consistency. When it works, they can do what they did tonight. When they run into a team that handles the ball really well, stays aggressive and matches their toughness, they struggle.

Also probably would add Michigan States bad start to year as well as Malik Monk going for 47 in a game against UNC.

I never thought I'd see a team without Niang. I had season tickets before he got here. However once he got here I kind of just thought he'd never leave.

As others have said, I didn't foresee Baylor rising to No. 1 at any point this season.

Other un-anticipated developments:
* UConn starting 6-9
* In a January AP top 25, there would be four Big East teams ranked above ANY Big Ten team.
* In near-mid-January, Minnesota and Kansas State would be ranked, but Michigan State would have zero votes.

Yeah I always hoped he'd get the Perry Ellis treatment and stick around for 7 years.

I never believed Steve Alford would get his **** together as a coach, but he apparently has at UCLA.
