The sec is overrated incredibly. Mizzou will probably average maybe 1 more loss than they do now. My reasoning....Kentucky, Vanderbilt, miss state, ole miss, Tam, Arkansas, Georgia, south Carolina, Tennessee, are all beatable teams year in and out. Only Florida, Alabama, auburn, and lsu are the carriers of the reputation of supremacy.
This is a dumb move for mizzou because of logistics. Travel will be awful and they will never be close to having a championship game in MO. But mizzou fans travel poorly anyway so that doesn't matter.
Missouri is a Midwestern state. I can understand wanting to be in the big ten, but the sec does not share most of the Missouri culture other than the bootheel.
The sec may see the Kansas city and st louis markets, but those markets are mixed with KU, KSU, ISU, and Illinois markets that really don't care about mizzou, and the rest of the focus there is the pro teams.
In the end, I don't see this happening. Its not a smart move, but you can't blame them for wanting some solid footing.
