You've been shown repeatedly a video of a Baylor player hitting Brock with his head down and with the crown of his helmet, yet you never responded to those posts and refuse to even acknowledge it. Why?
Because they're a douchebag that has always supported the abomination that is the Baylor athletic department.

Those words do not mean what you think they mean.
And yes. In 2022 decapition of a crossing receiver by a linebacker is no longer legal.
George Atckinson and Jack Tatum would be appalled as well
I’m old enough to remember those guys. Jack Tatum paralyzed a receiver (for life) with a cheap shot. George Atckinson gave a major concussion to Lynn Swann, which led to his early retirement, on a cheap shot hit. Seems like a rational comparison….NOT

I can see maybe coach crossed wires with that crew before. It just seemed they were laying the ground rules down for the ISU defense early on what they were going to allow.
I’ve wondered who would replace OU and Texas as the “golden child” of the Big 12. For years those schools seem to have gotten preferential treatment by the refs and the league in general. Perhaps we have our answer. Could it be…Baylor? Perish that thought. Excuse me while I hurl…

Lol. Most people here have admitted we didn't play well enough to win but the refs also sucked. Both can be true. Not sure why this is so hard for you.
I think the referees made enough of a material impact to the game that if Iowa State received the preferential treatment this game rather than Baylor, that would have likely been enough to change the outcome of the game.

Is Iowa State a better team than Baylor? Do we beat them with completely even officiating? I don't know. We played pretty well in the first half, and it was probably a wash in the fourth quarter, but Baylor did well in the third quarter. Obviously the whole strategy / gameplan is changed when you have key players ejected from the game or are playing from ahead or behind.

That is factually not true. Literally and factually OK to hit the receiver as ISU did on that play. And defining that as a decapitation might be the pussiest little b**ch way to describe that.

Not at all. I think the rules as written were followed
That doesn't mean I agree with the rule or it's implementation.
I get the intent of it. I like trying to increase player safety.
Its why I agree with the unnecessary roughness a little more than the targeting.
The former was a conscious decision to take a cheap shot at a defenseless receiver.
The other was a kid trying to make a play who missed his aiming point and head position by inches in less than a second.
You have literally is this thread stated there is a clear difference between Iowa State’s targeting foul and a play where a Baylor player factually and undisputedly also led with the crown of his helmet and factually NOT his face mask. You then didn’t respond when called on this, repeatedly.

Absolutely.
There is a reason nothing was called but review called the foul and ejection vs 17.
