The fix is in...

Interesting that won't change the rules again if one of the qualifiers can't play. Beings Ohio St would be the one that might have an issue.

I don't think the CFP would take a 5 win team regardless of the name on the jersey.

Don't be surprised if NW suddenly gets an outbreak and Rutgers finds itself without an opponent in "Championship Week". Ohio State still doesn't have to play a decent team and they can get that crucial 6th data point (still can't believe I had to type that) against the juggernaut Fuskers.

I'm actual more upset by Indiana love than Ohio State's preferential treatment. They've beat Penn State, Michigan and Wisconsin, which with the benefit of time have all proven to be horrible teams. I wouldn't be surprised if Purdue gives them a game.

And now Indiana-Purdue has been cancelled.

So Indiana, at 6-1 for the year, has beaten:

1. Penn State (3-5)*
2. Rutgers (3-5)
3. Michigan (2-4)
4. Michigan State (2-5)
5. Maryland (2-3)
6. Wisconsin (2-3)

Indiana lost to Ohio State 42-35 after Ohio State took it's foot off the gas at 35-7, for which it nearly paid a dear price.

Indiana is projected to go to the Fiesta Bowl, taking the last presumed open spot over the Big 12 championship loser (OU!). What a joke.

If I were on the Committee, I'd move Indiana down significantly from their current #12 ranking, as the three "ranked" teams that they played (Penn State, Michigan and Wisconsin) have been exposed as paper tigers.

And I'm an Indiana (graduate school of business) alum.
