This is crazy....

That was likely NOT the GM of New Orleans.

He's already being turned into the new Kaepernick. Scouts said all week why he would slip, why wouldn't we believe the guys who job it is to figure this stuff out? Because the kids Dad said different?

This is why I never understood why Deon/Colorado was a GREAT thing for the B12.

That is brutal. As a dad, I can’t imagine how bad Deion feels that his kid hasn’t been taken when he legitimately thought he’d be a first rounder. But I also would guess Deion doesn’t realize or want to accept this is a lot of his own doing. When this 30 for 30 comes out, it will be legendary.

He's left about $35M in money on the table from where him and dad thought they were going to land. Must've been some pretty bad interviews. lol.

It's the Tebow Effect all over again. Was TT good enough to be a serviceable QB in the NFL? Yes but not good enough to offset the circus that came with him. Good or bad, he drew so much attention it made it harder for whatever team he was on and his talent wasn't enough to make that worth it. Sanders is the same situation. If he was an elite talent, teams would just overlook it or at least take a flyer on him. But you have questionable character (entitlement), mediocre on-field performance, the fact that he's only ever played for his father, and all the other BS around him (the personalized draft room is a good example).

And to add to what you said that is bolded: Sanders' big hurdle is showing teams he's not an entitled prick. You know what really reinforces that image? When your dad has the program retire your number after one very mediocre season.
You could probably insert Kapernick into that Tebow comparison as well.

Agreed, but Tebow didn’t bring it on himself like Shitdeur does. Definitely a circus with Tebow, but he didn’t flaunt and brag and generally act like the ass that Mr. Legendary does.

You have to wonder how this might be used in recruiting against Colorado. Some are saying this is all a plot against Deion, will players want to go there if they think it could hurt their future?

No one wants the LaVar Ball style media circus that comes along with this kid. It's that simple. No coach is going to invite being publicly second guessed every week that this kid isn't producing at an All Pro level. He has no players around him, they don't know how to use him, the coaches don't know what they're doing, etc. Frankly, you are drafting Deion Sanders here.
