Oklahoma did plenty of bad things too. Perfection isn’t happening.
And I asked for perfection where?

moral victories are for loser players. Who cares if fans have moral victories.
I will say that while I get thd point that old Iowa state teams would have folded after first half, I realized that I never expected this team to. That’s pretty cool.
Ok, on the fans part I can get. The team folding part, I will admit I had some serious reservations. Glad I was proven wrong.
Wow. Sorry I was excited that ISU came back and went for the win in a great game. You're an ass my friend. Man I would hate to be you..... LOL!!
Ok.Look at the context of my response and spare me your lecture on the state of ISU's program. If you'd rather just lay it all at the refs' feet and pretend "we" didnt have any shortcomings last night, that's your prerogative. My point was that we'll have to shore up more than officiating to win our upcoming games. I don't think that's being unfair to anybody.
I've got 30+ years on you when it comes to ISU football and am well aware of where we are compared to where we've been. I don't EVER expect these kids or coaches to be perfect but it doesn't make me some kind idiot to point out that dropped pick 6s and double digit penalties are bad.
I will say this loss felt 'better' than the BU or OSU losses...but perhaps I'm also just getting a refresher in ISU inventing ways to lose and am used to it.
The entire game I was just waiting for them to come back and play up to their potential. It was a fun game to watch. We pounded on their defense. I don't think we had any injuries except for Olson (he walked off on his own) while Oklahoma had many injury timeouts. I will take a moral victory and ignore the perfectionists. I am going to trust in the process.
Side note, I think Reggie Bush is a west coast turd with his arrogant opinions despite the facts. He is a waste of an analyst.
