I think the Alabama fan base is having an ISU kinda of day. Their football team and basketball team lost on the same day.

My problem isn't necessarily the fact they threw the ball, I mean a 1st down and it's over. My problem was we were getting at least 5 yards a run. Their defense was tired. If we run two times we probably actually do get the first down. At worst, we burn all TOs making it more difficult.
However, this ref bs needs to stop. It is blatantly obvious that the big 12 wants nothing to do with seeing Iowa State succeed. I don't know if I can stomach watching another season of this. This is easily the best team Iowa State has ever had. An 11-1 school for sure if the big 12 didn't hate us so much. Instead, 7-5 and no one will remember it. Rip high volume recruits, rip long term success....rip Iowa State

I have watched lot of football over the years and I don’t think I have seen 3 flags picked up over that time. And now it happens in one game?
On the last drive for Iowa State, how about that PI called on Iowa State and pick play, Lazard was held on that.

100% agree. We did have some holding calls that our lineman did absolutely hold on and jumped offsides in some STUPID plays, but the fact remains, you don’t pick up 3 flags in a “fair” game
While those were horrible calls, run the damn ball under 2 min, make KSU use their time outs. You do that and you punt the ball to them with no timeouts and 45 seconds on the clock. This is Campbells failure.
And here we thought we might get the Big XII love for actually beating OU and them needing the help.

The Iowa-Florida Outback bowl was the only worse officiated game I have seen. One of the officials in the game was a Florida grad....
Manning called a good game for the most part up until that last drive. I'm sure he was expecting to catch K-State off guard and use our advantage at WR, it just didn't work out. Should have ran the ball and forced Skeletor to burn his timeouts. The running game had been good so I don't get it... I had no problem with the 2 point conversion attempt.
With all that aside, these officials should never be allowed into a Big 12 stadium again, but we all know they are sitting in their underwear together getting a good laugh out of this.

You are underestimating Reggie Smith. He would have kept calling penalties on the defense with time expired until KSU scored.
What pisses me off is that the talking heads are in the background saying that is okay since Lazard is so big. Does that mean that ISU can come off the sideline to make a tackle because someone is too fast?
