Tesla Cybertruck

The only thing I like about this design is the body being stainless steel and the tailgate having a three part ramp built in. I'm sick of my vehicles rusting from Iowa road salt and I do have to use ramps a lot to load things in the back. Hopefully they make some design changes before production starts.

Also, the quoted price is pretty great when you compare to other trucks out there costing more than a college education.

People complain that all cars today look the same, then take a massive steamer on whatever car comes out that looks remotely unique.
1. Its not unique. It's a ripoff of vehicle designs from 80s B movie Sci-Fi.
2. Do a lot of people really complain that all cars look the same? Is it the same people bashing this vehicle?

The truck that Simone Giertz hacked together from a Tesla car looks better than that thing.

I like it.

As far as the glass...did anyone watch it when they were dropping steel balls on the glass? I noticed the people unclamped it from the frame, allowing it to flex and take the impact from a ten foot drop. The window in the truck can't flex.

But where do you haul 3 years of decomposing corn and hay , 2 grease guns, an array of wrenches and 37 empty popcans
Dad, is that you? Don't forget the five buckle overshoes.

You only hit on half the truck-driving demographic. The other half wants to make sure they have a high-quality bed cover with easy access so they can haul their kids' duffel bag to basketball practice. I mean, a man's gotta haul ****, ya know?

I was really hoping he'd make Tesla a player in the pickup game especially when he was talking about making them affordable. I was really optimistic and was really looking forward to maybe buying one in a couple years. It looks like he isn't all that serious about competing.

Not horrible, but I’m not sure the demographic they’re targeting with that type of truck is that big. Wonder if it ever gets built.
