Terrible team, no heart.

I'm sorry, but this team has absolutely no heart. None. That goes towards the coaching staff as well. I'm sick and f'in tired of this mediocre bulls''t. Any of you that feel differently, shove it. It's fans like you that have facilitated this mediocrity for far far to long, and it's always going to be the same believe it or not if no change is made.

I swear we run the same routes every play, just out of a different formation. Stevie "concrete feet" Hicks doesn't keep the defense honest because he is absolutely no threat to break one.


AND HERE'S WHAT GETS ME. WE ALL GET A LETTER INDICATING WE'RE GOING TO HAVE TO PONEY UP MORE MONEY NEXT YEAR. ARE YOU KIDDING ME WITH THIS PRODUCT ON THE FIELD? DON'T GET ME WRONG, WE HAVE TO MAKE CHANGES WITH THE FACILITIES, BUT SERIOUSLY LETS PUT IT ON HOLD UNTIL WE CAN GET A COMPETITIVE PRODUCT WITH AN IDENTITY ON THE FIELD. HOW DO THEY EXPECT ME TO PROBABLY DOUBLE WHAT I PAY NEXT YEAR FOR THIS? GRANTED, SOME CHANGES MIGHT BE MADE BUT COME ON NOW, THIS IS REDICULOUS.
 
You're entitled to your opinion, but come on. Heart is hardly the issue. Did you see Blythe on people's shoulders? Do you see Flynn working his asterisk off for extra yards? The defense is young/inexperienced, but they are trying to bring people in. HEART IS NOT AN ISSUE ON THE TEAM. Stuff your negative attitude. I'm not happy, but screw complaining about the players. this season is NOT OVER. the players are NOT QUITTERS. i pray the fans aren't
 
Ferentz would be 5 -1 with this team. The talent is there, the coaching is not. Meyer needs to stop smiling and start leading.
 
OH COME ON. THIS TEAM IS TERRIBLE AND YOU KNOW IT. QUITE DRINKING THE KOOL-AID AND LOOK AT THIS REALISTICALLY. KANSAS PUT UP 590 YARDS WITH A BACK-UP QB LAST WEEK, WE BARELY PUT UP 300, AND MOST OF THOSE WERE IN THE END WHEN IT DIDN'T MATTER. BOTTOM LINE, WE'RE NOT GOOD AND WE SHOULD BE. HOW CAN YOU BACK THIS CRAP UP AFTER THE PAST TWO YEARS. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? LOOK AT HOW WE CHOKED. IT'S NOT A THING HERE OR THERE, IT'S A FREAKIN PATTERN!! HOW CAN ANY OF YOU NOT SEE THIS. IF MAC IS SO GOOD, WHY HAS NOBODY TRIED TO TAKE HIM AWAY FROM ISU? PROBABLY BECAUSE THEY LOVE PRPARING AGAINST HIS 2ND GRADE OFFENSE.
 
All caps is awesome. Heart has nothing to do with your post. Find another subject. I would challenge you like i did the husker fans for questioning our players. next time, find a proper posting title.

i think the players are working their tails off, though. perhaps because they're forced to.

YEAH I SHOULDN'T TAKE SHOTS AT YOU OR ANY OTHER CLONE FAN. IT'S JUST COMING DOWN OFF OF BEING EXCITED AND BUZZED (FROM EXCITEMENT AND A LOT OF ALCOHOL) FOR WHAT SEEMS LIKE NOTHING. I TOO LOVE THE CYCLONES, HAVE FOR A LONG TIME. I' M JUST TIRED OF BEING DISAPPOINTED WITH WHAT SEEMS LIKE THE SAME CRAP, AND WE HEAR THE SAME CRAPPY EXCUSES. MAYBE WE HAVE REACHED OUR HIGHEST LEVEL. MAYBE WE PLATEUED A FEW YEARS BACK. I'D LIKE TO THINK WE HAVEN'T BUT I HAVE TO BELIEVE THERE'S SOMETHING BETTER FOR IOWA STATE, IT CAN'T GET MUCH WORSE WITH THE TALENT WE HAVE
 
Storm8127- I don't know if you could not tell what the heck was going on in that game but ISU put the ball in the end zone over and over and the refs got the call wrong. Take away 2 touchdowns the way they did would deflate most teams. That score at end of 1st half was unfortunately vintage ISU defense. By the way, cursing and putting down people the way you have on this board shows me you are about 11 or 12. Nice.

OH COME ON, YOU CAN'T JUST SAY "OH IF WE GOT THOSE 2 TOUCHDOWNS WE WOULD HAVE BEEN RIGHT THERE" YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW NEBRASKA WOULD HAVE REACTED. PROBABLY WOULD HAVE THROWN THE BALL MORE AND IT WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE OUT OF HAND. TAYLOR WAS 17-21, AND DO I NEED TO REMIND YOU THAT WE ARE LAST IN THE NATION IN PASS EFFENCIENCY DEFENSE. YES LAST AND THAT'S ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE.
QUIT BLAMING THE REFS, GOOD TEAMS DON'T RELY ON REFS GOOD TEAMS MAKE THINGS HAPPEN. WE HAVEN'T MADE THINGS HAPPEN FOR 3 YEARS
 
No one here made excuses...however they brought up a good point.

Regardless...at the first sign of adversity...this offense just...vanishes.

actually, i agree. we got hosed. big time. end of first half, start of second half. but, if we want to be a higher-tier program, that's something we should be able to overcome. i think storm's had decent points, other than questioning the heart of the team itself.

and, of course, calling me a moron.

Sad, sad , sad... nothing new, just same stuff different week. Until change is made starting at the top, it will remain the same.
 
COULD YOU BE MEDIOCRE AT YOUR JOB FOR 12 YEARS, THROW IN A SEMI-DECENT YEAR OR TWO AND A WHOLE LOT OF BAD ONES, AND STILL GET PAY RAISES AND HAVE A JOB?
