The Iowa State women's basketball team (11-7, 3-4 Big 12) continues its three-game home stand when it takes on TCU (11-8, 3-5 Big 12) Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. in Hilton Coliseum.

Notes is showing the same starting line-up. If Seanna doesn’t start, Emily has been first-off so maybe her. As Acoustimac already commented, no one player can pick up Seanna’s All Big XII contribution – 35 minutes, 17 ppg and 10 rebounds.

All conference selection 5’6†Medley 15.5 ppg and Alix 11.8 ppg are joined by Thompson as the trio hits 45% from three. Alix had 26 in a 97-84 home loss to WVU on Saturday. They’ll likely start 6’3†Fr. Jordan Moore at center - competent, but not dominating at 8 ppg.

A win over the Horned Frogs RPI 97 won’t get us into the tournament, but it would keep hopes alive. Both teams average scoring 70-67. We’re still 8-1 at Hilton.

Go State!

TCU is probably the best 11-8 team in the country. They led TX and OK after 3 qtrs. Have already bet Tech twice. And as we know Techs only Big 12 win has been against ISU. If Seanna is unable to go this could go bad. Others need to step up. What's happened to Blaskowsky this year? I've seen her burn the nets in the past. Hasn't produced much this year at all.

Same starting lineup- just announced via Twitter. We'll see what happens.

Seanna has a wrap on her knee, but seems to be moving ok.

Who's doing color with Rich? I've not heard him before. Is Molly no longer doing any games then?

Molly does some, the rest are kind of a collection of folks. Don't know the guy's name but I've seen him working with promotions during time-outs, I think.

No offense and no defense. Seanna obviously isn't 100%, but there's no one else stepping up on either end.

Bad enough watching this without having to listen to Rich in total whining little kid mode. He's usually a decent play-by-play guy but in some games he just gets into his refs are ******* us and missing all of the calls.

Refs weren't the reason we look ponderous. I like all the people who came to the game, good showing for a mid-week game in January when things are kinda bleak in some regards.

Good game by Carleton, double-double. Not so much from anyone else.

Lots of missed free throws but that was more than offset by TCU missing a bunch also.
And 7-29 for 24% from three. 31% from the field overall.

Maybe we are not Big 12 fan material!

I supported this team for over 15 years. I've gone to games all over the country the support does Team.

I think she is a great player and fights really hard I just don't think she is quick enough to be a point guard in this league.

Jacking up 29 3's is almost obscene. Gives new definition to the term "settling."

What was either jack up at 3 or run into double Team under the basket and call for a charge or get blocked and then get mad cuz no foul was called

I just don't think Jadda is Big 12 point guard material.
Well, it would help if we ran more motion. You know, take advantage of Buckley's passing abilities by making the opposition chase her teammates around? Get lost in interior screens or cause defensive confusion, then popping open? Just because she maybe can't break someone down off the dribble doesn't mean she can't run point. Even her MC high school team ran more motion offense than we do...
