TCU v NC

LMAO. That whole broadcast was a Bill Belichick/North Carolina/Roy Williams/etc. commercial. It was fantastic that North Carolina scored first, it got their idiot fans all cranked up thinking this was going to be an easy win for them. They could just sit back, drink a beer, gloat, feel good about themselves and anticipate a "bought and paid for" National Championship.:D

The end of the game was beautifully fitting. TCU drove down the field like a knife going through butter in about a minute and a half, had a first and goal to go and casually took a knee and walked off the field. The ultimate dagger.

I had turned the game off at the beginning of halftime and had decided to check in on it later. When I did, the score was 41-14. I enjoyed watching the rest of it and loved their empty stadium, but with the sound turned off.

During TCU's last drive the ESPN crew evidently decided to showcase a dog in the broadcast booth pretending to be a broadcaster. I guess that ESPN was desperate for anything to try and distract a nationwide audience from the abomination that the much hyped Bill Belichick/North Carolina had just displayed.

Maybe this storyline flips but Bill B with his trophy grandchild side kick along for the ride is a sign of where college football is headed. With the NCAA hiding in the closet and turning everything loose, the sports media along with mega donors buying players and coaches (PrimeTime-Bill B), sit back and enjoy watching the SEC-B10-ACC powers eat each other up as they roll thru coaches. Alabama’s is on a short leash.

It’s apples and oranges, but it’s starting to look like the Patriots dynasty was more Tom Brady and less Bill B.

I know Tom wasn’t out there playing defense, but he took an average Bucs team to a Super Bowl win after 40. Bill’s Pats without TB and his early UNC team are underwhelming.

I’m certain Bill wants to compete and win… but I really think a lot of this is to get his son Steve a leg up into HC. If Bill gets UNC winning then he could name his replacement when he retires in X years.

Totally worked out for Sean Snyder and Brian Ferentz :jimlad:

Seeing as how Brady won a Super Bowl shortly after he left with the Bucs and the Patriots immediatly went in the toilet. I would agree with this. He had good defenses. This actually helps Brady Cement his legacy as well. He was the damn good.

UNC fans should have realized right away when he had a 25 year old girl running the show on him that this was not going to work. It's one thing to have a gold digging ***** on your arm, it's another to allow her to run the show. Did Hef let his girls run Playboy? no. He allowed them to walk next to him and live the high life as eye candy.
